Table Talk: Restore Week

This Week In Lightgliders:
Restore Week

We are  learning about the Three Goals of a Lightglider--to respect, to rescue, and to restore. The theme verse for this Unit is Proverbs 16:9 (NLT).

"We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps."

The third and final goal of a Lightglider is to Restore. To restore means to bring something back to the way that it was meant to be. The Scriptures tell us that one day God will restore this broken world. To serve as a signpost of what is to come, Lightgliders seek to restore the beauty, purpose, joy, and dignity of this world and the people in it. We teach the goal to restore in the Lightgliders game world through missions to restore the land from the blight. Blight is a dark, gloomy substance that can only be cleared with the light from a Lightglider. In the same way, God’s light can shine through His kids in ways that inspire help, healing, and hope to a world that needs it. Talk to your Lightgliders about how they were uniquely created to shine!

For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets.
