Table Talk: Restoration

This Week's Table Talk:

When Jesus comes back, God will fully restore this broken world. And because of this promise, we can live with hope for the future. Total restoration is coming. To restore something means to bring it back to what it was meant to be. In Lightgliders, kids go on missions to restore the land from blight and bring it back to its original beauty, purpose and goodness. And we have opportunities in the real world to work for restoration around us. Actions motivated by love for God and love for other people is the way to start. We have opportunities every day to encourage beauty, purpose, and goodness.

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things...

~Acts 3:19-21 (NLT)
